Project 02 - Messages from the Past
The Brief:
|
It is essential for students to undergo the study of development between the Eastern and the Western human civilizations in the past as well as present.
For this project, our task is to propose a video which is from a specific civilization as a group of 6-7 people. Ours was PORTUGAL. The research should include the culture, administration, social strata, tradition and history or myth of the given civilisation. All information collected will be combined in an online padlet. As for individual, the requirement is to create a journal of our own character in the video play. My group members: - Lim Win Kee - Wee Sue Wen - Brian Koh Jun Yan - Le Jia Ling - Kiu Ngin Pern - Serajeddin Ali Suliman - and me (Yang Jing Loo) |

REFLECTION
This project I enjoyed the most, as we can work as a group to study on Portugal's civilisation. I've learned to be more specific in terms of the video making as I was in charge of it. For this group project, I really appreciate my group members as we are able to work together well and produce work with initiatives. We've been through many arguments but still we are able to complete this project successfully.
As for individual work, I able to understand more about the Queen in Portugal in the past on their ruling experience, culture of royalties, and the architecture during that time. The greatest mistake I've made in this project is, I did not scan my individual work for my e-portfolio. This had taught me a lesson. |
